At Midtown Surf Shop we’re all about surfing, good vibes, and our community. We are stoked on all of the unique people we meet and hope to provide a place to gather, share the stoke, and buy quality goods.

We have one simple goal: For every person who visits Midtown Surf Shop to leave happier than when they arrived.

BETTER PRODUCTS FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

We like surprising our customers with unique experiences, great gift ideas and things that you’d never find at a typical surf shop. Our intention is to supply you with products that are made with quality and sustainability in mind. We carry goods that will stand the test of time. More use out of a single product is one of the greatest ways to keep the landfills from filling up. With that said, we also carry a variety of environmentally friendly products. To highlight a few, we stock recycled car tire footwear by Indosole, biodegradable traction pads by Sympl Supply Co. and a variety of Bio-Epoxy Surfboards. On top of this, we like to order local whenever we can. Not only do we love supporting our community, we also think ordering from local suppliers is a great way to cut down on unnecessary shipping emissions.

At Midtown we value creativity, craftsmanship, and culture.

We love giving artists a platform to share and sell their work. Whether it’s photographers, visual artists, or surfboard builders, we believe their work should be appreciated. Style and soul is important, this is what stands the test of time.

Midtown Surf Shop + Coffee Bar is our flagship store in the heart of Santa Cruz, CA. We’re conveniently located between the Eastside and Westside, in an area affectionately known as Midtown.

Midtown Surf Shop Carmel is located in Carmel by the Sea, CA. This shop is found on the Monterey Peninsula and is surrounded by gorgeous natural scenery and rich artistic history.

Midtown Surf Shop Capitola is located just south of Santa Cruz in the historic Capitola Village. Known as the oldest beach resort town on the west coast, it would just be wrong to not have its very own Midtown Surf Shop!
