SURFBOARD SHAPING LESSONS
PRIVATE SURFBOARD SHAPING COURSE (Instruction Only) $395
In our private surfboard shaping course, you will work one-on-one with a professional surfboard shaper to turn a rough surfboard blank into a beautiful, functional surfboard! Along the way, you’ll learn important shaping techniques as well as how to use a variety of tools. By the end of the course, you’ll have created a custom hand-shaped surfboard that’s ready to be glassed.
Each lesson is completed in approximately 4 hours and includes 1 or 2 short breaks.
PRIVATE SURFBOARD SHAPING COURSE + CUSTOM SURFBOARD
If you want more than just a lesson, we offer a complete custom surfboard package that includes around a 4-hour shaping lesson, surfboard blank + professional glassing of the surfboard you shaped, all for about the same price as what most people pay for the surfboard alone!
With our private shaping course + custom surfboard, once you and your shaper have finished sanding the blank, we’ll take to to be glassed. Customizations are also available, including logos, colorwork and more.
Rates
A down payment of $395 will be made before the lesson begins. After the the cost of surfboard blank and glassing is calculated (ordinarily after completion of board) which is dependent on materials and labor, you will be able to take your new hand shape for a test ride!
